The Connecticut Library Association has presented Granby Public Schools and Granby Public Library with the 2024 Faith Hektoen Award for Outstanding Programs. We were recognized for the collaborative event, "Granby Children's Book Festival" held at Wells Road School this fall. Trooper First Class James White from the Connecticut State Police will lead an interactive session for parents and caregivers to explore a wide range of topics including the various social media platforms students use, their behaviors online, and how they employ games and apps to keep information hidden. Participating in this session (bring a phone, tablet or laptop) will help you stay-up-to-date with the latest trends and equip you with the knowledge and tools necessary to help keep our children safe in the digital world.

Katie's book, A Simple Seed teaches children and adults how to show gratitude in their daily lives through a morning journaling routine. We invite Granby community members to attend a workshop with Katie tonight at Kelly Lane. FREE CHILDCARE is available. No registration required.
