Dear Members of the Granby Public Schools Community,
I am honored to be your Superintendent of Schools. Granby is a fabulous community to live and work and our schools are a source of pride for students, families and staff alike. Our theme this school year is Connect. Believe. Achieve. This theme will:
Guide us as we work together to build strong relationships.
Remind us to trust in ourselves—we can all “do hard things!”
Focus our efforts on helping children achieve their highest potential.
The word “connect” is listed first on purpose. That’s because building relationships and strengthening class communities is a cornerstone for learning. Our efforts in this area will help us to stay steady on the course to improve student achievement at Granby Public Schools.
We are entering year two of our district’s communications plan and continue to make progress in streamlining our overall communications. We are improving our website and sharing timely information with families through the ThrillShare app, with the community through the Granby Drummer, and with all audiences through the askGPS blog. Please feel free to submit a question any time for a prompt reply.
The purpose of our website is to keep our students, staff, parents and community informed of the excellent services, resources and programs that are offered by the Granby Public Schools. We encourage you to explore this website and learn more about each of our schools, special services offered as well as athletics and activities offered for students in our schools and community.
